FAQs

Unless otherwise posted our club is 16 and over, all the time. If you are under 16 you must be with an adult over 21. We will have all ages shows and it will be posted on show.

All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges unless a show is cancelled.

Yes, email or call the club and we will obtain that information.

Check the website for door times.

Sorry, but we publish SOLD OUT, we no longer have ANY tickets to sell, nor can let people pay cover at the door.

Door and Show Times are available on our web site.  The posted show time is when the opening act takes the stage. On the day of the show, we try to post show times via social media.

Our number one recommendation is The Gin Mill in front of Amos’. For many shows if you show your printed advanced ticket, you may get a discount on your food items. If you are looking for a place to go after the concert The Gin Mill is also a great selection with one of Charlotte’s favorite rooftop patios and a choice of over 80 bottle and draft beers as well as daily specials.

The box office accepts CASH, VISA, Master Card and Amex. There is a surcharge on tickets purchased with a credit card.

The bar accepts Cash, MC/V and Amex.

The Merchandise counter typically only accepts CASH. An ATM is located inside the club.

We’ve been doing all-ages shows for many years, but the decision to let your son or daughter come to a show here is obviously up to you as a parent.  As a parent myself, there are some shows that we recommend allowing your child to come to and others we would not. We suggest you research the bands and the crowds they draw before making this decision. If you have questions you can email us at info@amossouthend.com.

An ID is only required if you plan on drinking alcohol. Because we allow people under 21 into Amos’ we take checking IDs very seriously. Anyone over 21 is required by law to have a Government issued Id, Passport or State issued drivers license or ID.  Student ID’s, library cards etc, etc, are not valid form of ID’s. Anyone attempting to pass a fake ID will have ID confiscated and may be turned into the Police. That also goes for people under 21 attempting to drink underage. Remember people who work here, work here to support themselves and their families. It is not play time and anyone who comes here and does not respect our rules and the laws of North Carolina will never be allowed in Amos’ again.

Unless a show is advertised as seated or VIP tickets are sold, our shows are general admission. There may be some seats available depending on the show.

Unfortunately, due to fire code restrictions, you will not be able to bring your own chair. Obviously anyone confined to a wheelchair is allowed to bring their wheelchair into Amos’.

Amos’ does not sell food but our sister business, The Gin Mill, in front of the building offers excellent food. With many shows if you buy your ticket in advance you can get up to 20% off food at The Gin Mill. ( You must present a printed advanced ticket for that dates show).

Certain shows may have a dress policy but it will be listed on ticket. Otherwise you are just required to be dressed completely. You must leave your shirts on inside of club.

No. Smoking is prohibited inside all public places indoors in North Carolina.

Video is never allowed!  Recording and camera policies are at the bands’ discretion and change from night to night. If you bring a camera, and no cameras are allowed, you will need to take camera back to your vehicle. Amos’ will not be responsible for cameras or other personal property.
