About CLT Foundation:
The Changing Lives Together (CLT) Foundation is a Charlotte-based nonprofit whose mission is to enrich and change the lives of special needs kids and kids with life-altering medical circumstances. We achieve this mission by providing experiences for these kids and by partnering with our local community.
The experiences we help provide include granting financial needs-based annual college scholarships (in 2023 we granted 21 local kids scholarships totaling $100,000), free overnight summer camp for 35 kids with physical disabilities, Christmas in July at Levine’s Children’s Hospital, Quarterly Social Outings for kids with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (Autism, Down Syndrome, etc.), Lunch & Learns at local high schools, adopting families for Christmas gift giving and many other experiences designed to bring happiness and opportunit
With the CLT Foundation 91% of every dollar donated goes directly to the kids and the programs we provide! We thank you for your support and if you have any questions or would like to get more involved, please let us know.

About Neighborhood Hope:
In the city of Charlotte, not even 1 out of 10 people who start in poverty, will ever escape it. This means Charlotte is the worst city in the nation in that category. What does that mean to us at Neighborhood Hope? The Neighborhoods that we call family, that we have been developing relationships in for the past 11 years, are labeled as low income housing, which means these beautiful people are included in the alarming statistic of a lack of upward mobility. To be able to look into their faces knowing the odds are stacked against them, does not settle well with us.
We want to be a part of the solution in seeing hope come to life, and see these negative cycles broken. We exist to change the narrative of our city. No one organization can take this challenge on their back, the narrative can only change when everyone does their part. When different ethnicities and socio-economic classes come together to do life and become family, change will happen. We believe in community mentoring. Mentoring can have a powerful effect on the narrative of the child’s life, their family members, and the mentor.
Our programs focus on building deep meaningful connections with the communities we partner with. Each program has 5 strategic lessons that we focus on: #1 Receiving the Love of God #2 Self Love #3 Loving our Neighbor #4 Work Ethic and #5 Financial Literacy. We believe these five focuses will help alleviate poverty and give kids an opportunity to change the narrative of their lives.
